This week is special. It is Thanksgiving week. A week that people are reminded to truly look at their lives, if only for just one day, and find something to be thankful for. There is the big turkey feast and the ton of desserts that come after it. Football for the guys and a good yap session for the women. Yet why is it only one day out of the year that we are reminded to look so closely at our lives?

Each day I purposely take a good look at my life and find at least one thing that I am truly grateful for. Each day I reach out to someone else and try to make a difference in their life. This year both sides of that fence have been incredible. So many wonderful gifts have come to me throughout the year. So many people have touched my life so very deeply. So many people have made it easy for me to reach out and touch their lives. I am blessed. I am grateful. I am blessed and grateful to be in a position to live the concept of Thanksgiving each and every day.

What is...

What is life but a thought come true?
A thought that could start a life anew.
What is laughter but the soul smiling out loud...
or our spirit gently floating amongst the clouds?

What is all of this but simply a state of grace?
Achieved by being in "right time - right place".
What is it that we are grateful for?
All of this and so much more!

And yet our thanks should not stop here.
What of all our relations? Before they are gone...simply disappear?
Man does not own this world he's in...
for if he believes that, there'll be nothing left by the time he's through.
He must remember he only borrows it from his children and their children too.

What is life but a thought come true...
a thought that could save a life or two?
All creatures ... all life depend on you.
Please find it in your heart to be thankful for all of them ... to cherish them too.

While you're sitting around your Thanksgiving table this year with good food and good company I ask you....Please.... offer up a prayer for those less fortunate, for those who are homeless, for those who are alone. Especially for those who are so easily forgotten... who are all of our relations upon this Earth. This year join me in a prayer for every part of our family here on Mother Earth. A prayer for animals of all kinds, Trees, Plants, Rocks, even the wind and water along with all of humankind....a prayer for Peace. May all of us live in Peace together.

Peace be with you.
Many hugs,
Dawn
