O Lord,

let me not be brought to anger,
nor my heart to pain,
nor my mind to confusion,
nor my Spirit to restlessness.

Help me to raise myself above
the things that disrupt and destroy,
for with anger comes frustration,
with frustration comes doubt,

and through doubt
all good things are undermined.

Therefore O Lord,
help me to strengthen myself in all ways
that I may exemplify Thy presence in me,
that I may be a constant reflection of Thy good.
