I thank all of you for joining me yesterday in prayer for those who suicide has touched their lives. I'm sure our hearts were heard. Even though this day of prayer is done, I ask you to keep these memories close to the surface when you look into another's eyes. Truly look and see if your heart is still needed on this matter. By Monday I will be able to post the details on our next prayer session for March 12th.
I hope you will be able to join me.
Until then...thank you all for all you do.
Blessings, Dawn

This Friday, March 5th, I would like to touch on a subject that is too often overlooked. It has come to my attention within the last few months that suicide, for all it's reasons, is on the rise. In December the Pine Ridge Native American Reservation (Oglala Sioux ) in South Dakota was placed in a State of Emergency because of the tremendous rise in suicide. Since then I have witnessed too many hearts in pain because of being jobless for too long, having disabilities that do not allow a person to be active in main stream life, low self esteem, being burdened with so much that there seems to be no light within ones life. No matter what the reason... ALL life is precious. I ask you to join me in prayer this Friday for the best and highest good concerning all those who feel the pressures of life to the extent of possibly taking their own lives.

Please join me in holding these beautiful souls in the Light. Help them see who they are and who beautiful they truly are. Surround them with compassion, healing, respect and love. Bring to them their basic needs enabling them to regain the desire to Live.

Suicide is sometimes very misunderstood. From personal experience it is not the result of being weak, yet rather the result of being strong to the point of being overburdened with no relief in sight. There are many, many reasons that one would consider suicide, including feeling the pain of the entire world within their own hearts.

The very least we can do for someone in this situation is to enable them to know that they are not alone. The very most we can do is offer our love. The choice is still theirs to make. If we reach out with all of our hearts maybe, just maybe... we can make a difference. We can offer Hope.

Never assume because someone is smiling on the outside that they are not hurting on the inside. Always, always reach out with kindness and love.

Thank you all for all you do.
Dawn

For anyone reading this who has the slightest thought that you would not be missed...this is for you...

Look to me and you will see
an Angel watching over you.
One of God's own messengers
sent to bring you the truth.

The emptiness, the darkness...
the crying throughout your soul...
these things are not real you know
for deep inside you're whole.

Please don't think that you have been
forgotten or forsaken
for all of Heaven's Family has surrounded you
and a gentle stand has been taken.

We are here for you when you
are ready to come Home.
But first you must live your life
with the knowledge that...
Never for one moment are you alone.

I created that piece a few years ago and offered it to someone who touched my heart very deeply.
Thank you for allowing me to share it with you today.
