 This video is beyond graphic. There is a woman who was strong enough to post it on facebook and it dug into my heart. I felt compelled to share...if I offend anyone...I do apologize. That is not my intent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Prayer is not enough. Hunger exists all over the world. It is in our own backyards. How many even know their own neighbors? Look around you and see the people within the community where you live. Look a little further from home and see if you can offer even a little help to others. The children are our future. Will we have a future if they aredying from starvation? Starvation comes in many forms. The obvious is lack of food. The unobvious is lack of concern...lack of love...lack of respect for them simply being humane beings. Are we a "humane" society or are we a society that is based on selfishness and greed? Memorial day was yesterday. My frig was full. My stomach was full. How many were not that fortunate? I am not rich. Yet after seeing this video I will be doing more in the future than I have been doing. I have prayed for years for humanity to wake up and see the importance of every living being...whether that be human, plant, mineral or animal. If one can have respect and concern for all beings on the Earth there is a chance to heal the atrocities of this world. No child should be prey for anyone or anything. No animal should be the subject of anyone's abuse. No part of the Earth should be brutally destroyed for man's own greed. There should be no oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. There should be no clear-cutting of the Rain forests. They, and every other tree on this planet, offer the very air we breathe. With all of these atrocities life is destroyed. And that life is destroyed by man's own hands. Who will stand up with me to make a difference? Who will reach out to another human being in a humane manner? Who will offer nourishment? A dinner offered to a neighbor who just lost their job? A bag of groceries to the local food bank? Not able to give in this fashion? Offer your hand in respect and love. Volunteer. Make a difference in a nursing home for those souls who have been forgotten. Simply offer happiness through a smile or an act of kindness if you are the one who has lost that job. No that won't put food on your table, but it will feed your soul. Change starts from within. I pray that each and every one of you will see the miracles that you can create in this world. May each miracle you create come back to you a thousand fold. For each of you...I honor who you are and all you do. Peace be with you... Dawn |
