This Thanksgiving I would like to ask you to look at the day, the world and your fellow man differently. We are all thankful for a great meal, sharing it with family and not having to cook the next day. Now let’s look a little closer. Why are we really celebrating this day? To show thanks or gratitude for our country and the freedom She brings us. Now let’s look closer yet at our fellow man. It’s because we are all different that we have created such a wonderful country. While celebrating, I would like to give thanks to all those who have served to protect this land and to the families of those who have given their lives for us. It is because of these men and women and the values that our country was created on that we are able to live and express ourselves as who we are. I, for one, do not take this privilege for granted.
